Psst... hey... guess what? XD OH, A SKIN CHANGE! Well, my friends, for the month of december I have made a gift for you <3 haha. Now, since you're all still on Silence and I can't even imagine the degree of strangeness that it looks like right now, you need to go quick into your profiles and change it to this month's dandy theme, which has nothing to do with christmas or winter, because I'm a rebel like that xD. The skin's called... uh... -racks brains- well, something about toads. You'll find it. Also-- same with the last skin-- I pulled most of the hierarchy images from my own stash-- send me an angry pm if you want a different one. 8D happy December, peeps! xD

The season is
LATE LEAF-FALL!
The air is growing cold as temperatures plunge and ice frosts the grass. The trees are dropping their leaves in swirls of color, and it's now often freezing at night. Prey is beginning to shut up and hole down in all Clans despite the growing cold, especially in Rapidfalls' Circle, which is still undergoing a severe prey-drought. The sun now tends to hide behind a dense, foggy cloud cover, and chilly breezes keep the air cold and biting. As the season progresses, prey will become even scarcer and snow will not only fall-- but remain and build up. Clan rivalries, far from lessening, are only growing tenser as the reminder of leafbare approaches.

The Rapidfalls Raid is SO ON!!.

november wotm + motm xx Say hello to HAREFOOT!! This old fella' is November's Warrior of the month! This fluffy white-and-earth-colored tom with green eyes and rabbit-like feet is currently Thunderclan's oldest cat. At 92 moons of age, Harefoot has had to watch a lot of his family die and a lot more be born, and while his family ties stretch into Windclan and the loner territories, he himself was born to two pureblooded Tcer's. Harefoot is roleplayed by Hare, and was her first cat that she made. CONGRATS TO HAREFOOT! >:3 WELL LOOK WHO'S OUR NEW MOTM- ope, it's Bloodrose! Blood joined in August, arriving as an unexpected gift right out of the blue to plunk herself down as a joyful new member that has grown into someone certainly deserving of our Monthy Memberite Title! With a scattered handful of entertaining and well-played characters across all four Clans, this kickass Canadian is also known as Bloodeh, Roseh, and Bloodehroseh. Possibly some other stuff too. WOOT for Bloodrose! congrats to hare and blood!

Ashpatch ---- thirty minutes to alter our lives

The muscular feline strolled easily through the large forest. He was rather at ease in his home, after all he'd been a warrior for a good enough while now, what was he, twenty-three moons perhaps? He had a nice family, a good life. There was Nighthunter, his beloved mate, his two sons, Burningkit and Roughkit who were due to be apprentices at any moment. Than there was his adopted daughters, his cousin Stoneflower's kits. Rainkit, Cinderkit, Oakkit. Woodkit like his own kit, Crowkit had died but he hoped they'd always be remembered by their siblings. He knew he couldn't possibly forget the young kits. They'd taken part of his big heart along with them to Starclan. But he wasn't here to think about those things. He wasn't there to hunt either. For once in his life, he was on a solo walk, thinking about something much more serious that would need attention, or that would need to be hidden. His kits didn't know what he knew, and maybe that was good because he was betraying his clan by not alerting Riptalon at once. You see, his foster daughter, Rainkit had murdered Oakleaf's last daughter, Tansykit. He hadn't told anyone yet, not even his own mate. He was just so unsure what to do. He loved his foster kits, no matter what they thought of him, and he couldn't bear the thought of losing any of them, not even Rainkit who enjoyed torturing him. Roughkit and Cinderkit had been witnesses but no one needed to know that, they had done nothing wrong. They loved their sister, that was no crime.

With a large sigh of exasperation Ashpatch shook his head, the fur fluffing out to a little less than twice it's normal size. Leaf-fall had just began and he couldn't say he was looking forward to the cold weather on it's way. His paw steps seemed to drag as he carried himself to the tall pines, praying that Starclan would forgive him if he were to make the wrong choice. He was running out of time to decide. Angry with himself for being so indecisive he lashed his tail from side to side of his flank. Shame weighed down his shoulders and he felt as though he might collapse. The options laid out before him seemed awful. There was either lie to the clan to protect his daughter, or turn his daughter over for exile. She was barely ready to become an apprentice for Starclan's sake! A loud yowl ripped through his open jaws and his ears flattened against his head. His choice could choose the fate of many cats and he wished again that he knew nothing of what had happened.

It seemed Starclan must have been playing fairy god-mother that day because he would get that in a twisted sort of way. Ashpatch took of at a run, trying so hard to leave the demons that were haunting him behind. Family meant everything to him, he'd seen his own father murder his siblings, watched his mother purr when he was the only one left. Agonized, he bellowed again, the sound echoing throughout the forest. Torture. The past was catching up with him, everything rammed into him at once. Why was this happening?

He continued much to quickly through the large expanse of trees, barely managing to dodge some of them until his claw caught on something wham! He slammed head first into one of the bigger trees. He flew back almost instantly and landed roughly on the ground. Unable to breath, he wheezed, unable to stand, he staggered. What the... What had just happened? Where was he? No better yet who was he? He had no idea what he was doing in the land that was filled with trees or why his head hurt so bad. He felt as if he'd ran head first into a monster! Confused and alone he sat, crouching low to the ground and his golden eyes wet with tears. It felt so cold, the wind was ripping through his pelt and Ashpatch shivered. What was this place where he had no one? Where it seemed as if he might die. Why wasn't he where... well where was he suppose to be? Hadn't he been deciding something? His head hurt more when he tried to remember and he lowered his underbelly to the ground, letting out a pitiful wail. Not very warrior like but than, he didn't know he was a warrior anymore

I can lead you through it all
Follow in my paw steps
This darkness is no burden for me to bare

Nothing can stop time from moving forward. Nothing can keep smoke from rising. Nothing could keep Burningkits paw in camp. He was adept at sneaking out. He loved to test his skills and prove them strong or weak each time he attempted to leave the camp. He gained knowledged from everything. Even if he failed, he would use it as a reminder for what not to do for the next time. His grey pelt blended perfectly into his surroundings making it extreamly difficult to find him. He respected any cat that could pic him out with just there sight alone. Today he was bored just sitting in the nursery. He wanted out. His heart craved for a challenge, or something to take up his time. Where was his father? He knew his mother was out on patrol, but Ashpatch was supposed to stay in camp and teach him some moves. Afterall they were all going to be apprentices soon, and they would need all the techniques they could master. Well Rainkit probably would just need a babysitter, but he was ready for the world, and he was certain that he had experienced the forest more than any other kit had. He had certainatly been there plenty of times and could find his way around decently he thought. Of course he hoped that his mentor would find new ways to test him. If he got bored then , he might go mad.

Well he decided to make his own adventure today. His father was not in camp like he was supposed to be, and he was determined to find out why. What if he was hurt? Burningkit knew that he might get into trouble for leaving the camp yet again, but it wasn`t his fault if the other warriors couldn`t keep up with him. His grey paws slid out of the nursery. He kept his body low to the ground and stayed quiet.Simpletons. How can we honestly miss a kit leaving the camp? To think I get yelled at for this. My parents should be proud of me. Tricking everyone time after time. With each step he moved closer to the entrance, ut just as he neared it, he veered to the left. There was a hole hidden in the brambles. It was just big enough for him to fit through, and he had used it once in a while. He figured now was a good time, since he really wanted to avoid getting caught. Today he was on a mission. His blue eyes gleamed with purpose. He loved having something to put his mind towards, and family matters were most important to him. There family had been through alot with the loss of there siblings. His brother and himself were all that his mother and father had left, besides there cousins. He loved them all the same, and he would watch over any of them, but something was wrong today. His father had been acting weird lately. His mother so far hadn`t noticed, or wasn`t showing it if she had.

He squeezed through and felt his pads touch the dusty earth. That was it he was out. It was offical, if he was found now, then he would get caught. Sly as a fox he trodded through the trees. He was careful not to rub up against the majority of the shrubs and trees. No one should know that he was out of camp again, because if his father was fine, then he would only spy and return to camp. Better to not get in trouble for something that wasn`t worth it. That and he didn`t fancy touching mousebile again. He shook at the memory of tasting it after one of his failed escape attempts. His goal was not to repeat that incident ever again. It wasn`t that he minded helping the elders, he just hated that icky stuff. His head flew up as he caught teh scent of something. It smelled familiar, but he couldn`t place it right away, perhas the mist was bothering his senses, or he was getting allergies. He hoped that it was only the mist, and he decided that the scent was worth checking out. He would have to be careful, because it could be another warrior. If ti was his mother then perhaps he could explain himself, but otherwise he would be in deep trouble, and his search would end.

Slowly he crept closer to the scent, and recognised it to be his father. He wondered why hje had strayed into Tallpines. Was he meeting up with a kittypet? No that was beyond his father. He was to dedicated to the clan and there mother Nighthunter for that. He peered out and saw his father sway and fall. He had rammed his head into that huge tree.Is that some sort of higher leveled move or something? Perhaps he was trying to split the tree in two? Wait is he ok, he looks confused? Add to that , the fact that he would have smelled me already, because he is one of the only cats that can pick me out. He walked out from his hiding place. Worry pricked his pelt. His father looked scared and lost. He knew himto be wise and brave. He spoke to him with care." Dad, are you alright? Ashpatch you look hurt." He never used his fathers name that often, but this time he thouhgt that it fit, because his father looked truly lost.Oh Starclan what has happened to him?

Ashpatch ---- something inside this heart is dying

His head ached, it ached so bad. Would the pain never stop pounding away at his temples? The fur on his back rose and fear scent was easily detected all around him. This new him, this memory-less him definitely had no clue what it meant to be a warrior, to risk your life for the sake of your clan and family. Heck he didn't even know he had a clan or family! From his current perspective he was some sort of loner, a lost cat who didn't know how to fend for himself much less how to help out another feline. The only thing he felt other than fear and loneliness was a stabbing sense of missing someone, someone he cared for and loved very much. But who? Ashpatch growled in frustration, letting his anger overwhelm all other emotions. Had life always been this confusing or was this too something brand new? So many questions and yet no answers to a single one of them.

Suddenly a scent filled his nostrils, curling in and out as he tried to figure out first what it was and than who it is. He knew, deep down that he should recognize it but he couldn't place a face or anything else to it. This, more than anything else frustrated him. Why couldn't he remember, why did this seem like something that should come so naturally to him when really he couldn't think straight at all. All around the tom, trees swayed back and forth, dying grass whipped at his ash gray paws and leaves fluttered on to his head, ready to bury the confused feline who couldn't quite fend for himself at the moment. Red leaves, orange, yellow, brown. They surrounded him and he couldn't help but see the beauty in them. Their light veins, their crinkling edges and assorted colors. They seemed to be calling out a name, maybe his name but he couldn't be sure since he didn't know who he was. Ashpatch crouched lower, fascinated by this one strand of nature that was all around him. He seemed to enter a trance like state until suddenly another cat came into his view. The animal was much smaller than himself, not more than half his size.

His eyes widened and the fur along his spine rose to a prickle. Claws extended into the ground and his fear scent became overwhelming. Sure he was bigger, but he didn't know anything! What did this cat want with him... and what did he just call him? Dad... Ashpatch... Was that his name... was he this cat's.. father? His mind was spinning and everything jumbled together. “What?” He rasped, “Who are you? Who's this Ashpatch? I don't understand!” His voice rose as he spoke, fear still tingling in his paws and tail. “I... I don't know where I am. Do you know where I live?” His question was fumbled from his maw but since this cat was the only one he seemed to see maybe he could help him find his way. He didn't seem to be hostile but than you never know for sure.

What's happened to me? He wondered silently, wishing he could remember, remember anything at all. How had he ended up sitting beneath this great tree with these pretty pretty leaves surrounding him. Again he lost his train of thought and stared at his surroundings. If he lived in this place it might be ok... It was beautiful. But how would he eat? Did someone bring him food or was he meant to get it himself? Frustration clawed at his chest but he tried to focus once more on the kit before him. This feline might help, he just kept telling himself that as he awaited a response from the young male. There were so many things pushing on his mind, so many things screaming at him blurs of words that made no sense at all. He tried hard to hear these thoughts, tried to understand but it was impossible. His head was still pounding and his ears were ringing. He felt as though he might very well go mad! He couldn't take the ache, you couldn't take not knowing, but he stayed quiet throughout this process, just staring empty eyes at Burningkit. His golden eyes held confusion, anger, depression, everythig imaginable in those round glimmers of light.

What in Starclans name was he thinking. His father was fine, he had to be right? This was all a joke. Of course that was it a complete joke. He was just testing him. Why wouldn`t he remember him, or his own name for that matter.Burningkit tilted his head and looked his father up and down. He smelled afraid. Could this truely be a jest of some kind. It was beginning to look more serious to him by the second. Though he out of all there siblings besides Rainkit was probably the most memorable to there father, because he spent most of his time keeping an eye on them. How would he explain this to his family? They expected the same brave, and loving Ashpatch to return home, but now he looked so fearful, and detatched. It was weird for him to see his father this way. Surely he was scared for life. Perhaps this was some sort of test. Either way Burningkit had decided to go along with it. If he was wrong and this wasn`t a prank he would pay the price for avoiding it, so there really wasn`t much else to do."Your name is Ashpatch, and I`m your son Burningkit. See we look the same. You live here, its called Thunderclan. This is only part of our home, the camp lies elsewhere. Is this some sort of game or something? Don`t you remember me? I`m very hard to forget, because i`m the best sneak thunderclan has. I`m not going to get into trouble for sneaking out again am I?" One of the last things he wanted was to get into trouble. If he hadn`t been worried in the first place , then he wouldn`t have revealed his preasence at all.

He sat there giving him that funny yet confuzed expression. Please let him be joking.Wow look at teh size of the scratch in that tree! Must have been a badger or soemthing. Unless...It hit him , that perhaps his father had hit the tree somehow.Of all the mouse brained, dumb things to do, he hits a tree! What will mother say! Raintkit might take advantge of this, so i have to watch him now constantly. Great... Its like caring for a kit. Wait am I this bad? Not possible, because i`m not this much trouble. Am I? All well the sooner I figure htis out the better. Perhaps I should hide him out of teh camp until he feels better. That wouldn`t do a patrol would see him I bet, or he woudl wander away. Add to that the fact that he might not be able to hunt anymore, and I could try to hunt for him, but it would be difficult. No doubt mom would know i`m gone everyday, and when I come back tired she`d wonder and worry. Sigh. What am I going to do with him?

done, cause i have no muse at all.
