In the center of the RiverClan camp is the Tallwood, which serves as their meeting place. The old, decrepit tree is said to be older than the Clan itself, and the Elders say it served as the meeting place for the very first RiverClan cats. It has a tendency to lean slightly and its roots have been unearthed above the mud.

› FRESH-KILL PILE

The stock for all fresh prey caught by RiverClan cats. It is usually filled with fish and water voles, as most RiverClan cats hunt along the river.

The den belonging exclusively to the RiverClan leader and their mate. It is the leader's private space is only to be visited on matters of utmost importance.

› MEDICINE CAT'S DEN

In a secluded, quiet corner of the RiverClan camp is the medicine cat's den. This is where the RiverClan medicine cat and his or her apprentice live and work, and where all inured or sick cats come to seek medical attention.

› WARRIORS' DEN

The warriors' den is protected by a thick barrier of reeds and rushes. Here, warriors come to rest or spend idle time after a long day.

› APPRENTICE DEN

Near the banks of the RiverClan island is the apprentice den. The apprentices gather feathers and rushes to line their nests, and can often be seen relaxing or playing nearby while not out doing chores.

Surrounded by a tight wall of reeds is the RiverClan nursery. It's always well-protected, because inside are the Clan's future, the kits. Expecting and nursing queens live here.

In a den behind a long old branch and river fronds is the elders' den. Retired members of RiverClan live here, taken care of by apprentices, who will sometimes come to hear the elders tell their stories.

› RIVERCLAN CAMP!
Although the RiverClan camp is strategically placed - on a little island enclosed by the water - it may not have been the smartest place to build a home. In early newleaf, when the ice starts to melt, it often threatens the dens made of trees and shrubbery, forcing the water-dwelling clan to flee to higher, more wooded ground.
