Hailstorm
The gray and white she-cat almost missed the words spoken by the other leaders. Her pale green gaze had been focused on her tabby apprentice, Frostedpaw. She watched with hidden horror as he stumbled about, before crashing into a group of other apprentices. The RiverClan leader had to hold back the groan that threatened to leave her throat. She proceeded to do the hardest thing she'd experienced in moons: pull her eyes away from her clumsy apprentice.
With great effort, they landed upon Lionmask as the WindClan leader returned her greeting, before asking how both RiverClan and ShadowClan were fairing. Deciding she had time to speak first before Gravesky found his words, the RiverClan she-cat gave a slight dip of her head. "RiverClan is fairing well. We are strong. I hope the same is true of WindClan." Her voice was curt as ever, but there seemed to be something sincere in her demeanour. Even though she was of RiverClan, she was not the type of cat to wish harm upon another Clan. Until they threatened RiverClan, the other Clans weren't necessarily her enemy.
Dark gray ears swivelled slightly, dragging her color-drained gaze to Wolfstrike, who spoke in a manner that seemed pressing. Slightly narrowing her eyes as this, Hailstorm let Lionmask answer first. it gave her a moment or two to contemplate what this could mean. Why in the name of St- In the name of the Sky did Wolfstrike need to speak so urgently. Not that she had a problem with him going first. It just seemed bizarre to her.
As Lionmask finished speaking, the RiverClan leader gave a shrug of her powerful shoulders. "RiverClan is in no rush." She said simply, her voice chilled as it usually was. Her tail flicked slightly as she pondered just how this Gathering might turn out. What news did the other Clan leaders have to share with them?
