shadowclan nursery !
Welcome to the Nursery! I expect you're visiting one of the queens, or playing with the kittens, hmm? Well, that's fine, go ahead and make a thread in the board like you've always done. What's this thread for, then? Well, among other things, FCOTF has revamped the kit system! The litters are back under admin control (actually, it never left, but we're stricter now). Note that the more your cat has contributed to the Clan (prey points, patrol points, threads) the more likely that the litter will be large and healthy.
First, make sure you qualify. After that, fill out the code and make your post in this board (patiently wait) and the Clan Leader will tell you whether you have been successfully impregnated yet. As in real life when you ship in orders for babies, it's all up to mother nature as to how many kits you have, their genders, their appearances, and any possible defects. Administrators and Clan Leaders reserve the right to penalize whiners with miscarriages and stillborn kits, so it might be best to just take what you're given.
Kit Rules:01. The queen must be at least 8 Moons of age - you may have kits as an apprentice, but it is frowned upon.
02. You cannot play both the mother and the father.
03. You may only claim one kit per litter.
04. The queen/tom must have completed at least one relationship thread and must have known one another for five real-life days.
05. Only apprentices, warriors, and male deputies and leaders may have/father kits in the Clans.

» If both parents have at least three points each, they may choose a guaranteed a healthy litter with no defects. They may also risk defects to reserve genders or appearances.
» If either of the parents has five or more points (prey/patrol), they may request a specific gender for one kit. Note that just because you rack up 20 points and reserve four genders doesn't mean that you're necessarily going to have four kits.
» If either of the parents has ten or more points, they may request a specific appearance for one of their kits. Same as above, just because you reserve a ton of appearances doesn't mean that many will be born.
» Number of kits is solely up to the administrator or Clan Leader in charge.
» If you fail to become pregnant, the cats in question are likely too inactive in the Clan. Go on patrol and rack up some points, or even just start a normal thread and come back when you're done.
