Cherrykit had a relatively boring kithood. She dreamed of one day becoming an apprentice to a cool cat like Wolfstrike. However, Cherrykit has to catch his attention first. Sometimes leaders were too busy to take on apprentices, but Cherrykit had her eyes set on being the apprentice of a leader... besides. She thought Wolfstrike was kind of cute!

FULL DESCRIPTION!
Cherrypaw is a reddish colored she-cat with small, dainty paws and bright greens eyes. Her fur is short and sleek and shines like rusty fire in the sunlight. When she moves, her muscles ripple like that of a lake surface being disturbed. However, Cherrypaw is a bit muscular as well. She has an average sized head with pointed ears, that's always flicking about and listening for danger. Cherrypaw's tail wraps around to the tip of her front paws, but no further.
PERSONALITY!
Cherrypaw is a gentle cat who enjoys smelling the flowers, so to speak. She doesn't believe in hurting others without proper cause and she hates it when she is forced to do so when the cause is unjust. Cherrypaw's favorite activity is to lie in the sun and soak up the sun's rays. When hunting, Cherrypaw is a focused hunter and rarely lets anything distract her.
When battles occur, Cherrypaw only joins in the fight if she knows there is a good reason for the battle. This means if there is proof that says ShadowClan was stealing prey then Cherrypaw would help confront them. However, if it was a rouge or loner that was stealing prey and her Clan pointed paws at ShadowClan or RiverClan then Cherrypaw would refuse and take the punishment.
She dislikes fighting unjust battles and seeing her Clanmates suffer for something that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Even though she is gentle and loves helping others, she does not find interest in becoming Medicine Cat. Cherrypaw is a hunter through and through and cannot imagine any other life. She dreams that one day she'll become a mother and have kits of her own.
HISTORY!
Kit:Cherrykit was born to Smokemask and Dewshine. Cherrykit and her siblings were the second and next to last litter of the mated pair. Her older siblings, Amberflight, Lilyhawk, and Nightwing had all become warriors four moons before Cherrykit and her littermates, Bearkit, Snowkit, and Songkit were born. The four kits were always into trouble, however, the ringleader always changed between Bearkit and Snowkit. The pair were as thick as thieves. Sometimes Cherrykit would join them on their adventures and sometimes she would obey and stay in the camp.

Cherrypaw stalked through the undergrowth after the squirrel. The Clan needed feeding now that leafbare was coming to an end. Newleaf was right around the corner and Cherrypaw wanted to bring back a LOT of prey for the Clan to eat. Her reddish colored pelt stood out just a bit in the surrounding forest and she had to alter some of the hunting moves to accommodate the disadvantage. Finally, the she-cat soared forward and landed on top of the squirrel before it could utter so much as a squeak. With a clean bite, the she-cat killed her prey and buried it so she could get it later.
Continuing on, Cherrypaw took in the sounds of the forest. It was coming alive with prey that was coming out of their winter slumber. Cherrypaw grinned. Prey was always good for any Clan. Soon she caught a sparrow and buried it. Curiosity pricked at her fur and the young she-cat glanced in the direction of Moonstone. She had been told that it had collapsed and that the Clans could no longer talk to their ancestors. Would this be the end of the Clans? Cherrypaw could not imagine any other way and was actually a bit terrified.
All of a sudden, weight landed on top of Cherrypaw and the she-cat let out a yowl of surprise. She turned and stared at... her laughing brother, Bearpaw. "Cherrypaw you should have seen the look on your face."
"Bearpaw you mousebrain! Now every prey in the forest will be hiding. Why did you have to sneak up like that?"
Bearpaw shrugged, "Calm down Cherrypaw. I was just trying to have a bit of fun."
Cherrypaw snarled, "Well don't! We need to feed the Clan. Come on. We need to return." She grabbed her sparrow and squirrel and noticed that Bearpaw didn't have anything and Cherrypaw hissed in annoyance, "No prey... again?!"
Bearpaw shrugged again, "It's no big deal."
"No big... You piece of fox dug! The prey is the only thing keeping this Clan alive." Cherrypaw grabbed her two bits of prey and dragged them back to camp. Oh she was going to enjoy watching her brother suffer for not bringing back anything.
