larkcall.
i'm checking your pulse and giving you air,
but your body disagrees, and no it don't care at all.
i'm wasting my time.

i'm wasting my time.
The mesmerizing colors danced cheerfully for her, their brilliance swayed in time to the wind music. the scrawny female blinked slowly as her ochre orbs reflected the vast array of hues and patterns. she so deeply loved the flower fields and the flora that resided within. zooming in on a bushel of foxglove she peered at the conical shaped plant, trying to figure out how the tiny gold glitter powders got inside each flower. inhaling deeply, she relished each scent. however, in doing so the pollen she had been pondering decided to take a trip as well. scrunching up her nose, Larkcall shook her head to get the tickles out, and they definitely came out. this lady wasn't the type to have a dainty girly sneeze, the one that sounds like an animated character should make it. no no, her sneeze came out as a massively loud sound that echoed through the clearing surrounded by pines. sitting back on her heels at the shock of the deafening noise, the she-cat looked around to make sure no one was around to hear.
Ironically, the mostly silent female was capable of creating such noise. the strange part was that that was the first sound that had escaped her all day. exhaling her breath softly, the light stepping femme turned around in disappointment. she was trying to see how long she could refrain from making a single sound on this day, and it had been going perfectly but was now ruined. she so craved control and structure, and the silence challenge was a lovely outlet that allowed her to maintain her calm, cool, and collected demeanor. this would now be one of the few days she had failed.
Glancing disdainfully at the borders she had been remarking, the she-cat turned her back on her self-imposed assignment. what point was there in continuing her duties today now that it had been ruined? she could begin again tomorrow of course, but that was hours away and the sun hadn't even reached the top of the sky yet. her failure wouldn't be so significant had it occurred in the evening, but she had an entire day ahead of her. crisply walking into the middle of the field she harumphed her frustration which was so soft and breathy it was pretty, which was not at all her aim. growing even more vexed, the feline flopped onto a patch of baby's breath and stewed in her irritation. on the bright side, no one would interrupt her lamenting, as her shadowclan peers rarely explored this end if they were older than kits, and none of those had been seen in this clan for quite some time. she could at least look forward to being completely and utterly alone.
